Faculty Profile

While I have lived in the Spring Arbor/Jackson area for almost 8 years, I grew up on the west side of the state, just south of Kalamazoo, in Vicksburg, Michigan. After graduating high school in 2017, I came to Spring Arbor with a dream of entering the medical field. I earned my BS in Biology, then went on to be a medical scribe with Henry Ford Health, while simultaneously serving as the Coordinator of Outreach Ministry at Spring Arbor University. In this role, I managed campus-wide volunteer initiatives and fostered student engagement. Since early 2022, I have served as the Associate Director of Annual Giving at Spring Arbor University, where I get to communicate the impact of the institution and cultivate relationships with alumni and donors. My passion is tell the stories of students and alumni with the greater SAU community and sharing the importance of Christian higher education.

 

When I am not working, I serve as the Director of Fundraising for the Troy United Football Club, a semi-pro soccer team based in Troy, Michigan. I am also actively involved in the Jackson community where I serve on a local Jackson Festival committee and am a member of the Jackson Young Professionals. I enjoy serving as a youth leader at my church and occasionally lending my expertise as a stage manage at the Croswell Opera House in Adrian, Michigan. For fun, I enjoy exploring new culinary experiences, traveling, reading, and cultivating my passion for coffee and plants.
