Why SAU
I first came to Spring Arbor University as a freshman in 2016. I was originally drawn to campus as an English major but soon switched my major to Music after participating in SAU’s many musical ensembles and drama club. When I visited as a high schooler, I could feel the rich community that was fostered at Spring Arbor, especially from the faculty who I felt cared deeply about the students and each other. I knew that at SAU, I could grow in my faith, meet amazing friends, and get a high-quality education. Now, as a faculty member myself, it is my joy to work with students of all disciplines. I find teaching in SAU’s choir program incredibly rewarding; the students are a delight to be around and it is a pleasure to watch their minds (and voices) expand, as well as their love for Jesus and each other.
