Biography

A Virginia native, I came to Michigan for college and didn’t expect to end up here long term, but God had other plans! I’ve called Michigan home for more than 10 years now. My husband David and I live in Hillsdale along with our dog, Joshua. We’ve been blessed to travel widely, including trips to Alaska, Hawaii, Mexico, the Bahamas, and Canada—especially Quebec, which has become a favorite destination.

As a French major in college, I spent 6 months living and studying in France, which was a transformational experience for both my faith and my education. Since then I’ve worked in customer service, as a teacher, and in nonprofit fundraising at Hillsdale College and SAU. I’m a fan of Cal Newport and a deep work enthusiast.

Our family attends Holy Trinity Anglican Parish in Hillsdale, where I sing in the church choir, and Grace Anglican Church in Arundel, Quebec.

Education

Bachelor of Arts in French: Hillsdale College

Why SAU

SAU’s strong culture of faith, both in work and life, intrigued and attracted me. I’m honored to have great colleagues who pray for each other. It’s a blessing to work together as we support Christ-centered education.
