Gainey School of Business

Equipping Leaders to Serve

A special invitation to invest in our Gainey School of Business students!

Each semester, the Student Managed Investment Group (SMIG) research stocks in the SMIG portfolio and recommend buying, selling, or holding current investments. Through this program, students gain confidence in their abilities and critical thinking skills as they better understand how financial markets function. This valuable experience prepares them to be excellent stewards of personal and company resources.

Beginning with an initial investment of only $500, the student managed fund has grown to over $180,000 currently invested in 19 publicly traded stocks. When the investment fund reaches $250,000, the Gainey School of Business will re-invest a portion of the profits directly into our students by awarding scholarships to business majors.

All gifts received through this giving form will be directed to the Student Managed Investment Group operating within the Gainey School of Business.

Thank you for supporting Spring Arbor University, Gainey School of Business and our students!
