From the Desk of Marco Bernardini, Head Coach, Men's Soccer

What is a fun fact about you?
I am an honorary shareholder of Taco Bell.
What is something you love about coaching at SAU?
I just love being a part of the soccer program again. There's something so special about the culture, history, and tradition of the program - people develop here and it's an honor every day to have the opportunity to be back leading a program and team that I have a deep connection with. So for me, what I love is just the day-to-day of working with our guys as we pursue the journey of playing at the highest level we possibly can. And seeing the development of our men on and off the field is always so worth it.
How have you seen God working in your team this season?
Beyond the lifelong friendships and relationships that are currently being formed and strengthened within our group, I would just share that the Lord is after these guys.
What is one thing you hope your players take away from their time on the team?
To understand more and more who they were created and called to be as men. To be secure enough in who they are to go and boldly live that out - not by looking to be accepted by others, but to add to them. And that that is impossible to do that alone - they need Him.
