Spring Arbor University Hosts 17th Annual SAU Open Supporting Student Scholarships

On Friday, August 14, Spring Arbor University (SAU) hosted the annual SAU Open at the Calderone Golf Club in Grass Lake, MI. The SAU Open has successfully raised over $280,000 since its inception in 2009, supporting SAU students through academic and athletic scholarships. This year, 41 teams participated in the Open to help raise over $55,000.
"We are incredibly grateful for the ongoing support from our sponsors and participants," said Andrew Phelps, the Associate Director of Annual Giving. "We are so blessed to have support that makes a meaningful difference in the lives of our students by providing academic and athletic scholarships. Events like this are a powerful reflection of our shared commitment to the mission of Spring Arbor University, to help students grow in their faith and pursue academic excellence.”
The SAU Open is grateful and blessed to have True Community Credit Union as the main event sponsor and their faithful support throughout the existence of this event. Smokehouse 52 BBQ also served as the catering sponsor for participants after completing the course.
