With our program, you'll shape young minds to be critical thinkers, guided by ethical principles and a biblical worldview. Choose from three concentrations and learn to teach kids how to grow deep roots in today's world.

Elementary Education PK-3: Our Elementary Education PK-3 program provides the opportunity to be certified to teach at the PK-3 grade level.

Elementary Education 3-6: Our Elementary Education 3-6 program provides the opportunity to be certified to teach at the 3-6 grade level.

Elementary Education PK-3 and 3-6: Our Elementary Education PK-3 and 3-6 program provides the opportunity to be certified to teach at both the PK-3 and 3-6 grade levels.

Key Courses

In the Elementary Education program, students will learn to demonstrate their understanding of child development from preschool through grade 6 and examine social issues affecting children. Students will learn about education using Michigan's academic standards for elementary grades.
