Compassionate Leadership in Urban Education
This unique program prepares students to address the multifaceted challenges of urban education through a lens of compassion, stewardship, and service. Guided by experienced faculty who integrate faith-based perspectives into the curriculum, students develop the leadership skills and ethical framework necessary to effect positive change in urban educational environments. Emphasizing the importance of empathy and advocacy, our Urban Education Leadership minor equips students to become compassionate leaders dedicated to fostering thriving communities through education.
Key Courses
Students in the Urban Education and Leadership program will be prepared to serve in urban communities to provide education, empower leaders, and assist with administrative services. The Urban and Education Leadership endorsement will provide students with a biblical worldview to serve in an urban setting.
