Impact the Lives of Young Students
Our Christ-centered program equips you to work with children from birth to eight years old, integrating strategies to support struggling readers and those with self-regulation or challenging behaviors. Designed for educators teaching preschool through third grade, the MAEC program emphasizes developing the skills and strategies needed to become successful, professional educators focused on early childhood development. Additionally, students can earn the Early Childhood General and Special Education (birth-kindergarten) endorsement by completing the program and passing the Michigan Test for Teacher Certification. Join us at SAU and become a compassionate, skilled advocate for young children’s educational success.
