SAU’s International Business program educates and equips students to work effectively in a global business environment. By the time you graduate, you will be able to articulate the different aspects of international business including entry strategies, the influence of culture in conducting international business, and the various models of international companies. Our dedicated professors have a wealth of experience in international business and provide students with real-world case studies and practical projects set up to equip you with tangible skills rather than just textbook knowledge. Our International Business program equips students to be ethical global leaders who make a positive impact on both businesses and communities on a global scale.

Key Courses

Students in the International Business major will learn effective skills in communication, leadership, logic and critical thinking, and will demonstrate a strong intellectual capacity while developing competencies in international business for a career with domestic or international organizations. Students will build on the foundation of a biblical worldview to understand the importance of integrity, ethics, and content knowledge. Students will demonstrate cultural understanding and language proficiency. Students will be equipped to work effectively in a global business environment.

TRUE Community Credit Union Trading Center

Our academic building, The Poling Center for Global Learning and Leadership, includes the TRUE Community Credit Union Trading Room, which trains students for corporate and personal finance careers. The trading center features:

  • 20 computers for students
  • An electronic wrap-around ticker
  • A large LED financial data board
  • A large LCD screen for teaching
  • An LCD screen for business news
  • A bank of seven international clocks
  • A specialized teaching bunker
  • Continuous financial news feeds

The trading room enables our students to take a step forward in their entrepreneurial skills. The students receive “on the job” experience, practice and knowledge in trading technology, an enhanced level of confidence and familiarity with the latest financial technology.
