The Biblical Studies Minor emphasizes biblical interpretation, theology, and the history
of Christianity. With courses like Biblical Interpretation and advanced Bible studies,
this program prepares students for graduate or seminary studies. It integrates the
Wesleyan Quadrilateral—Scripture, tradition, reason, and experience—equipping students
to engage deeply with biblical texts and contemporary theological issues
Key Courses
Students will engage with exegetical methods of Christian Scripture and be able to address theological concerns that are not only part of the ancient world but that also face the contemporary church. The Biblical Studies minor will prepare students for postgraduate school or seminary.
