Embracing Diversity in
Christ-Centered Community
At Spring Arbor University, we are a dynamic community of learners committed to cultivating a Christ-centered environment that celebrates the rich diversity of God's creation. Grounded in the enduring legacy of our founding denomination, we affirm that every individual is uniquely made in the image of God and seek to honor this divine creativity by fostering a space where all students and community members can thrive.
Our commitment to creating an inclusive and diverse learning environment is central to who we are. While we recognize the challenges that diversity can bring, we embrace them with courage and conviction, knowing that our Christian faith calls us to something greater. Guided by the teachings of Jesus Christ, we strive to foster a community where acceptance, mutual respect, and transformative learning are at the heart of our mission.
Office of Institutional Diversity
The Office of Institutional Diversity works to eliminate harmful bias and discrimination and develop authentic relationships that will create a campus community that truly reflects the depth and breadth of God’s kingdom.
Office of Intercultural Relations
The Office of Intercultural Relations (OIR) at Spring Arbor University is dedicated to fostering a Christ-centered community that reflects the rich diversity of God’s creation. We believe that every individual is uniquely made in the image of God, and we strive to honor this divine creativity by promoting an environment where all students and community members can flourish.
Student Support & Programs
Spring Arbor University supports students through Intercultural Advisers, the LINK Program, and partnerships with the Student Government Association and Career Center. Intercultural Advisers assist with retention and diversity initiatives, while the LINK Program pairs freshmen with upper-class mentors to foster academic and social success. The SGA and Career Center provide leadership resources, career counseling, and events, all aimed at enhancing the experience and opportunities for students of color, international students and first generation students.
