Our Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABSN) track is designed for individuals who already hold a bachelor’s degree and want to transition quickly into nursing. This intensive, full-time track combines hands-on clinical experience, online courses, and expert instruction, allowing you to become a registered nurse in as little as 16 months and begin making an impact in today’s high-demand healthcare field.

While classes are online, students participate in three on-campus skills and simulation experiences designed to build confidence and prepare for clinical practice in a safe, supportive environment. Intensive dates vary by cohort; prospective students are encouraged to connect with Admissions for the most current schedule information.
Clinical Experience Overview
Gain hands-on experience through 19 clinical credit hours and 800 in-person clinical hours at a healthcare facility.
What to Expect During Clinicals
- Attend clinicals 2 days per week
- Clinical sites are located within 75 miles of Spring Arbor University
- Our team will coordinate and place you in an approved facility
- Clinical placements rotate every 7 weeks, giving you experience in a variety of healthcare settings and specialties

Nursing Program Prerequisites & Curriculum
The Nursing major consists of 87 total credit hours, including nursing coursework and required science and general education prerequisites designed to prepare you for success in clinical practice.
