Our Professional Writing major prepares students for diverse writing careers, including news writing, business writing, blogging, and writing for media. You'll also gain skills in design, photography, and web management. At SAU, you'll develop a thoughtful, ethical understanding of communication and learn to write clearly and effectively, opening doors to various career fields after graduation.
Key Courses
Students in the Professional Writing program will learn how to write for various mediums for short and long written copy. This program will prepare students to pursue a variety of careers where they can use their written skills in journalism, script writing, editing, or marketing.
