Why SAU
I was working in affiliate broadcast television as an anchor, producer and reporter when I was asked to teach a single course in broadcast news journalism as an adjunct. Less than half a semester in, I was certain I had found my calling. I felt honored to share my professional experience with students who were so eager to learn. The opportunity to approach our discipline and discuss tough topics from a biblical perspective continues to be a privilege. After nearly three decades at SAU, I still view every minute I’ve shared with every student as a gift.
