Biography
A lifelong educator, Luman has had a wide range of experiences in the K-12 school world during the first chapter of his career. Various jobs held include classroom teacher, school counselor, high school administrator and elementary principal. He has held roles in the Christian sector, public schools as well as overseas in an international school in Seoul, South Korea.
Dr. Strong is married to Tanya and has 5 children: Selah, a professional ballerina in Chicago, and four boys who provide non-stop energy.

Ph.D. in Educational Leadership from Lehigh University (PA)
Why SAU
After retiring from the Chelsea School District, Luman's goal was to apply his knowledge and experience to students in a Christian setting. Spring Arbor University's School of Education has been a blessing to afford such opportunities and to help mold and shape tomorrow's educators.
