Biography
Sandra has been at Spring Arbor University (SAU) since Spring 2019. Before coming
to SAU, she has held numerous roles working with populations spanning from infants
to seniors. Sandra has experience in outpatient mental health, schools, case management,
as well as Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT). Sandra has found her
calling here at SAU in the classroom and enjoys teaching our campus BSW students and

When not at SAU or studying, you can find Sandra greeting others and worshiping at Arbor Church, spending time with her family, camping, or at one of Michigan's beautiful lakes. Sandra is married to her husband, Allen, and they have three children (Austin, Kalista, & Xandria) and one grandson (Greysyn). |

Why SAU
Sandra loves SAU not only because she graduated from SAU (twice!) and her mom worked here, but also because of the loving, praying community that pours over campus. Shortly after Sandra began her career here at SAU, her mentor, Dr. Holiday, told her “when something happens to one of us, it happens to all of us”. Implying that here at SAU, we pray for each other, love each other, and support one another.
