Strong Tower Radio Now Broadcasting on 89.3 FM as Spring Arbor University Invests in 106.9 HOME.fm

Spring Arbor University (SAU) is pleased to announce that as of October 6, 2026, Strong Tower Radio is now broadcasting on 89.3 and all associated translators under a new agreement with SAU. The agreement keeps Christian programming on the air for listeners in Jackson, Chelsea, Coldwater, Lansing, Kalamazoo, Battle Creek, and Galesburg, and allows SAU to concentrate its broadcast and student media work on its flagship campus station, 106.9 HOME.fm. The 89.3 signal and affiliated translators most recently carried The Arbor FM, SAU’s secondary student-hosted Christian music station.
“Christian radio programming has been part of Spring Arbor University's service to mid-Michigan for more than 60 years," said Marla Sanford, SAU's Vice President for Enrollment and Marketing. "This agreement keeps Christian programming on 89.3 while also allowing us to put our full energy into 106.9 HOME.fm, providing new opportunities to focus on our local community and helping our students build skills in radio, podcasting, and media production."
106.9 HOME.fm broadcasts from Spring Arbor University's campus and streams at HOME.fm.
